News and Information from the IHSAA

Schools playing the early game in football may begin football practice on Monday,
August 12 after submitting a written waiver request to the IHSAA.
All other member schools may begin football practice on August 16 with soccer,
volleyball and cross country beginning on August 19. The day of the first
scheduled contest shall not be allowed to count as one of the ten days in
meeting the ten day practice rule. In football, helmets may be worn on the
first day. A player must have at least two days of practice without any pads.
Shoulder pads may be worn on the third day and full pads on the fifth day.
